My beautiful daughter!

I can't believe my baby girl is already two! She's so beautiful and such a sweet heart too! (Even if her favorite things to say are "No!"..."I not!"....and "It's not funny!" the last one she has picked up from me, because that is what I say to her, as she is running away from me and laughing when I try to change her diaper, put on her clothes, or when we are in the grocery store or parking lot!)

First day of school for Cody

Last Wednesday was Cody's first day of preschool for this year. He started preschool last year. He said "I hate school!" He also says he hates going to church. I guess he takes after his dad that way. LOL! Get used to it buddy...you've got a lot of years left of doing both.

Let the smiles begin!

I had to jiggle the crap outta him, shake his feet, and make silly and embarrassing noises...but I finally coaxed a smile out of him...it was so worth it!

All of that effort tuckered him right out. Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby?

Big brother Cody wanted a picture with his brother. He had his hair cut this morning...doesn't he look so handsome?

Cody's new obsession is the Mario Brothers video games and the Mario Brothers cartoons. And I do mean OBSESSION...he can't get enough. It's a great bargaining tool for me! :) I can get a lot of compliance out of Mr. Contrary by rewarding him with Wii time or by threatening to take it away. I imagine that sooner then I want it will be the use of the car...but for now, it's Mario Brothers.

Here are a few more pictures of Boone. He is 7 weeks old today. He weighs over 11 pounds now, and he will sleep from about 10 pm to about 5 am. He's smiled at me a few times and he can roll from his belly onto his back. I can't wait until he starts smiling more so I can get some pictures. He's just so adorable when he smiles.

No Joelle!

Cody has officially passed the torch of destruction on to his sister! She found a red sharpie pen that I thought was well hidden in the office. They are not washable. She has drawn on herself before but always with the crayola washable markers. Her new favorite phrase is "I NOT!!!" My sweet baby girl has turned into a "terrible two". She doesn't like to ride in the carts in stores anymore but she won't stay with me, especially when we are in a parking lot...running away from me is her favorite game right now...frustraiting! She is still so sweet but has also become an independent and stubborn little soul...hmmmm, I wonder where she could have gotten that from? Must be from her dad! (Ha ha!)

S'mores

I made S'mores for the kids the other night. We weren't camping so I just made them in the microwave...not as fun but just as yummy. However...

Cody did not want his melted one so I had to put one marshmallow, one piece of gram cracker, and one UN-MELTED piece of cholcolate on a plate...then Mr. Picky was finally happy.

Same for Joelle, but she still was not happy when the chocolate started melting in her hand...I don't care if in is melting...I am always happy when there is chocolate in my hand!!!
