Boone - 8 Months
Boone is 8 months old
He did not get up on the couch by himself, I put him up there, but he sure had a great time standing up like a big boy. You can see, in the top - left hand picture in the collage, that he was still grinning even after he fell down. He is a very happy and healthy 8 month old. I call him "Mr. Happy pants" because he is such a grinner. I love my little buddy! I can't believe how fast the last 8 months have flown by.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Tyler took me, Joelle, and Boone out to lunch today, to the Texas Roadhouse, for Valentine's day. We set the automatic timer on our camera to get this picture. It is a miricle we got this picture...Joelle kept running away from Tyler, I kept closing my eyes, and Boone kept puking! We actually have a picture with Boone in mid-puke...ha ha! Gone are the romantic and expensive Valentine's dinners for two! ...at least for awhile anyway.
Happy Valentine's Day to all our family and friends!
We love you!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Brrrrrrrr!!! It's cold here in Texas!
It's been about 22 degrees this week and the kids have been out of school since Tuesday. It's been too icy here to drive safely. The news was calling Flower Mound "an ice rink". Tyler and I both found it amazing how long the kids lasted playing outside the first morning after it had snowed. I have worried about Tyler driving to work and driving at work. I feel bad he has had to work out in this terrible weather. Cody had a dentist appointment tomorrow but I cancelled it. And we have not made it to Dane's Tae Kwon Do class this week. We ran out of milk and bread and I had Tyler go to the store for me...I would just die if I wrecked my new van. I can't remember the last time Tyler has been in a grocery store. Our power has not gone out like it has for some people here so that's good. I have been out to check the mail and to take diapers out to the garbage can and that has been enough for me! Joelle and Cody have wanted to go outside to play...crazy kids! So not going to happen!

Joelle's first shave!
I went looking for Joelle to get her ready for church this past Sunday and found her in our bathroom "shaving" with her daddy. As you can see from the following pictures she looked beautiful for church after her first shave! Ha ha! Joelle is the sweetest thing! She's developing the most adorable sense of humor. She is loving to her baby brother, and a great playmate for her big brothers. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She's beautiful inside and out. We love you Jo Bean!
