Never a dull moment

There's never a dull moment at our house. Someone is always being extra cute or super naughty.

This is what happens when I try to get something done on the computer when the kids are awake. They decided to T.P. the house for me right before we were getting ready to leave for a church activity.

I was talking to my mom the other day on the phone and trying to describe how cute Joelle looked in the outfit she had on, and she said to send her a picture of it, so here it is. I just LOVE this picture. I think all the kids turned out looking so cute.

More strange Texas insects

Tyler saw this moth out on our patio the other night and the boys were just facinated by it. I have never seen a moth like this before have you?

Hillbilly bath

The kids got so dirty playing out in the back yard the other day
that I didn't even want to carry them in to the bathtub. So Tyler
put them in the baby pool and I ran in and grabbed the shampo
and they had their bath outside. Tyler told Dane it was called a
"Hillbilly bath".

Dane's first day of school

Here is my baby on his first day of school.

He was so excited to start "big boy" school. He kept asking 

"Mom, how many more sleeps until kindergarten starts?  He just loves his

new red camouflage school shirt and would wear it everyday

if he could.

Washing the dog

The kids had a lot of fun the other day helping dad wash the dog. Of course anything involving water is fun around our house...we'll use any excuse to cool off!

You know it's hot...

You know it's hot when your daughter gets in the dogs water bowl just so she can cool off! Is this why they call them "the dog days of summer"? Ha, Ha!

This is how you stay cool in Texas when you don't have a pool! :> You fill up some buckets with water...put your feet in one...and let the kids play in the others!
