I walked into our family room to discover Dane hanging out with his baby brother. They were laying in front of the TV in exactly the same possition...it was so cute! And then when I walked around in front of them...I got some amazing smiles. What darling boys I have. Dane and Boone adore each other. I hope that lasts forever!

Oh Cody...you're priceless!

I had to write this down so I don't ever forget it! Cody was so funny today over...of all things...bologna! Bologna sandwiches, made with turkey bologna, are one of his favorite things to eat. He is Mr. Picky eater but this is one thing he really likes. But for some reason I kept forgetting to buy it, so its been months since he's had any. I remembered today, and while I was making dinner, I pulled the package out of the fridge to show him I had it, and he grabbed the package from me and said "Oh bologna! You got me bologna! I love bologna!" Of course I was happy he was happy but when I turned around I saw him KISSING the bologna package! He said "Did you see me Mom? I gave the bologna a kiss because I love it!" Wait!...there's more...he started singing "My favorite is bologna . My favorite is bologna. Because I really love it. Because I really love it. Did you hear my song Mom? I sang it because I really love bologna!"

He ate two bologna sandwiches for dinner...even some of the crust! I guess I better remember to get more bologna next time we run out because I got the message...Cody really loves bologna! LOL!

"Dane! Quit running and sliding across the floor...you're going to get hurt!"....Did he listen?... of course not! Slipped and launched himself right into the air and came down head first onto his left eye. Look at that shiner! I was so mad at him for not listening that I had to say "Dane, why does Mom ask you to do things?" "To keep us from getting hurt." ""Yes! Now listen to me next time!" Yeah right! Like that's going to happen. Ha ha! This was right after it happened. I forgot to take pictures of it later but it got very purple...quite the beautiful paint job.

Thank you for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa Thomas! Boone loved meeting his grandparents for the first time...as you can see from the pictures he especially loved when Grandpa sang the song from Pinocchio to him. I really loved having an extra pair of hands around to help...thank you Sylva! :) The kids already want to know when they are going to see you again...we hope it's soon!

Boone was blessed on October 10th, 2010

Boone was given his first priesthood blessing by Tyler and Bishop Alex Dahl, Doug Cluff, Grandpa Clark Thomas, Rob Ashton, and Tim Spencer participated as well. We are so glad that Grandpa and Grandma Thomas could be their for Boone's special day. They have been there for each of our children's blessings and we are so grateful for that. Especially since we live so far away from each other now.

Cody's Birthday Party

Cody wanted his birthday at Chuck E. Cheeses again this year. Total madness...but I wanted to make my boy happy...so Chuck E. Cheese's it was. Cody kept informing us that he was no longer scared of Chuck E. Cheese. Cody and Joelle wouldn't have anything to do with him last year.

Family
Grandma and Grandpa Thomas came to visit us all the way from St. George, Utah. I was so grateful for their help during the party. Sylva watched Boone and Clark watched Cody and that made it a whole lot easier on me. I get stressed out hosting birthday parties. I'm happy to do it but it does stress me out.

Playing games and having fun
The kids always have so much fun at Chuck E. Cheese's that it's worth it to me to endure the madness, mayhem, and craziness that goes along with the experience.

We were happy to have Jake Nelson, Jorgen Hansen, and Grant Bingham join us for the fun. They are all really great boys.

Opening presents
You can really tell from these pictures how enthralled Cody was with opening his presents. He has been wanting his big boy booster seat, for the van, for a long time, so he was very excited to get that. He was very happy with all the presents he got. Thank you everyone!

Four months old

My little man is four months old! I'm trying to enjoy every minute because I know how fast it goes by. Is this the greatest smile or what? Boone is a very pleasant and happy little guy. I feel lucky to be his mom.

Helping herself...

I came around the corner the other day to find Joelle helping herself to a little snack and you can't tell in this picture but she had also taken her diaper off for some reason. So she was running around pillaging bread half naked...funny girl...but did she have to dump the whole loaf of bread on the floor? Where was I during all of this, you ask? Who knows! Probably off putting out some other "fire". My big girl pooped in the potty for the first time yesterday...my baby is growing up. She was really proud of herself but did not want to have anything to do with flushing the toilet...it totally freaks her out. To cute!

Thumb sucker

Here's Boone...my little thumb sucker! None of my other kids have sucked their thumb like this. He only sucks his left thumb...it looks like three out of my four kids will be lefties. He can now roll from his back to his belly whenever he wants. The problem is that he hates being on his belly, so he gets himself all frustrated every time he does it. As you can see from his arms and cheeks he's a real chubby baby. He weighs over 15 lbs now and is just rolly-polly cute. I just want to eat him up! LOL!

Happy 4th Birthday Cody!

Here we are...were it all happened four years ago! This is the exact spot, in our bathroom, where Cody was born! We took our annual picture together to commemorate that eventful day. The first words I said to Cody were " You little stinker! What are you doing to your Momma!" I still say that to him often! I love you, my mischievous little elf! Happy 4th birthday!

Here is our Mr. Boonie pants at 3 months old. He smiles with his whole body...it's so adorable! Now if I could just get the little stinker to sleep through the night!
