Joelle and I had a little conversation over breakfast today. This is how it went.
Me: "Say Mama".
JoJo: "Daddy"
Me: "Mama"
JoJo: "Da Da".
Me: "Ma Ma".
JoJo: "DAD!!!"
Too funny! Guess I'll give up! :>

Why do our children say "Da-Da" first? I agree with you...we're the ones with them all day, all nights, fixing their meals, wiping fannies and everything else that goes with it, yet it's "Da-Da". Our reward is that we are the first one who gets their first kiss, see their first smile and to hear their first laugh. Plus...we are "Mom" and that is the most used word they will ever say! Gotta love it!!
